In my distant youth out of a mixture of aimlessness, desperation, and yearning for adventure I joined the Navy. Little did I know that this decision would lead to an intensely close friendship during basic training which once I left to my command post I would feel the urge to immortalize in a series of often embarrassing confessional comics.
Join me revisiting the ups and downs that come with crushing on your best friend.

This is honestly wonderful and has made me a new fan for this kinda work. It's direct, honest and lovable with its dialogue and exploring memories this way is really cool.
Also, like god, Dionne is such an ass.
Truly the gay furry American Splendor.
It's rare for furry stuff to be this honest, and this down-to-earth. And especially to be this willing to not be self-aggrandizing, and to accept all the little foibles and prickly aspects of experience.
It's got all the shabby grace and charm of American Splendor, or Seth's stamp comics, or Joe Sacco's reportage comics.
Oh including the tattoo was a WONDERFUL gut punch. These are beautiful dude
